- Things we do like
- Cinema, motorcycling, theatre, art galleries, swimming, music concerts, visiting other countries.
- Things we don't like
- I'll try anything so don't want to say what I don't like other than narrow opinions about things.
- Art we like
- les demoiselles d'avignon. 102 years old and it's still shocking and wonderful and huge!
- Art we don't like
- The couple snogging at the new St Pancras Station. It's horrible and naff!
My blog posts
Is anybody back in the coury and can anybody help?!
I've just realised that a lot of you are probably sunning yourselves under that unpronounceable ash cloud, but am I right in thinking the quilting workshop is on 29th April at Jubilee School? I think I am but would appreciate confirmation.
This blog is getting more and more fun to read and comment on by the minute! Excellent.
unless it's me behind the lens......
Another brilliant evening! Thanks everyone for turning up on time.
Great to see Marcia and Duane writing their comments about Nation. Those of you who haven't yet, please do because what you were saying after the performance should definitely be shared with others.
Well, I left this evening's performance at The National feeling like I had just eaten a meal. Sometimes just a snack will do, sometimes a takeaway but tonight I felt like I'd had a banquet! The whole performance was so rich that I'll be digesting it for weeks to come.
I'd forgotten what a great thing the blog was as a way of sharing thoughts and ideas about our cultural experiences. Actually, I'd forgotten how to use the blog!
For the past few months, my daughter has been working as an intern at Sadlers Wells. It has made us so much more aware of what a lot of brilliant dance (and a bit of rubbish too). We have been to see just about everything that was on over the autumn season and really got into dance.
