Wednesday, 10 March 2010 Madelines photo workshop
Just wanted to thank Madeline for a very interesting workshop. I had no idea how you could make a bad photo look so good, was a little disapointed that I had deleted photo's that hadn't come out to clear now  !!!! Jordon your work on your photo you did was great, the  way you covered the writing you didn't want to exactly the same background was  fab.Using the RBG was a lot of fun especially seeing Luba and Mim with their blonde hair. Must confess I do need a lot mo .....
Sunday, 28 February 2010 Twelth night The Cottesloe Theatre
Why why why have I never been to watch a Shakespeare play ???? Well I'm sure  this is the start of something new so thank you ABC. The afternoon was so enjoyable chatting with the other parents and watching our children from Hackney enjoy such a wonderful play. When I asked Olivia what she enjoyed, her reply was the music, singing and the very creative masks. I then asked her did she understand the story, her reply was of course I did mum. So that leaves me to change !!! .....

Tuesday, 16 February 2010 Ridley Rd market
I used to live at Dalston as a young girl and regually went to the market. Must confess I havn't been back for many years so was interested to see how much it had changed. To my surpise the vegetable stall still had the same stallholder still selling veg.I would have just loved the video camera to interview  this man as I'm sure he would have noticed more changes than myself. The market wasn't as busy as I remembered but that was probably the weather as it didn't ST .....

The morning started great as Olivia and I met up with Zehra and Mel who were already on the  388 bus, we had travelled in good time so we put our cameras to use and had lots of fun taking pictures . Then Mel persuaded me ( he he) to climb up to the huge lion at Trafalga SQ and natually I said yes if she would too !!!! SO WE DID and guess what ???? Your right we couldn't get down. Was just fantastic hearing Zehra and OLivia laughing at their responsible parents. .....

Wow what an evening !!! From sillohetted dancing cubian musicians to the soft feet of the ballet and finishing the night off with some body popping all the way to the no 38 bus stop.

"Going to the dance was a fantastic experience. My grandmother who was very formal and austere used to take me to the ballet and i absolutely hated it"
The dance workshop and Sadlers Wells by ivan and chrissie

"I think what i have learnt the most about this project is.......wait for it....is SELF BELIEF. If an artist or anyone, writes, sings, dances or sculpts etc and believes they have done a good job, well thats all that matters....i have doubted myself in the past, lacked believing in myself and what i can achieve....”
Our first visit to the Tate Modern by Alison and Keon

"We have decided to take Ryan and Naombh somewhere at least once a month and have figured that with our children its best sometimes just to get on a bus or tube and just see what's going on ,sort of exposing them to the arts accidentally there is so much to see and do"
An afternoon with Eelyn by Naombh
