Music at the RFH.

It was a very tricky start to the day, organising members of the family left at home, who, regardless of our activities would still want their Sunday roast. It was lovely to take our seats and turn the mobile off.Naombh and I loved the Peter rabbit it was brilliant to hear it retold so well by Chris Jarvis alongside the beautiful music of Stephen Mc Neff.I think the fact that Dangerous Creatures was a world premiere  was lost on Naombh, but I thought that was really special.Naombh liked the Army Ants best and my favourite was Big Black Bear. The Firebird Suite finale was beautiful.Angie Newman was so good and showed the children that everyone can appreciate music. We arrived home looking like drowned rats just to continue with the animal theme.

"I think what i have learnt the most about this project is.......wait for it....is SELF BELIEF. If an artist or anyone, writes, sings, dances or sculpts etc and believes they have done a good job, well thats all that matters....i have doubted myself in the past, lacked believing in myself and what i can achieve....”

"We have decided to take Ryan and Naombh somewhere at least once a month and have figured that with our children its best sometimes just to get on a bus or tube and just see what's going on ,sort of exposing them to the arts accidentally there is so much to see and do"
