Royal Festival Hall

Today we have been to the Royal Festival Hall to listen to the LondonPhilharmonic Orchestra playing a Musical Menagerie as part of the Funharmonics Family Concerts season.

This is not something that Ryan and I would normally do so it was a great chance to try something new together!

I really enjoyed the concert, especially the Peter Rabbit story and I loved the 'laid back' and relaxed atmoshere in the auditorium - obviously necessary given the amount of children present! Unfortunately my son Ryan wasn't as keen and even said that he was a little bored. I must say that he isnt very musical and has never shown any desire to learn to play any instrument. Maybe we can change that? Especially after today anyway....

Keep on at him, Donna! He'll come round to your way of thinking soon.

Happy St Patrick's Day.
I have to say, there was quite a lot of chat in tonight's workshop. I think Ryan might have drifted off to sleep!

"I think what i have learnt the most about this project is.......wait for it....is SELF BELIEF. If an artist or anyone, writes, sings, dances or sculpts etc and believes they have done a good job, well thats all that matters....i have doubted myself in the past, lacked believing in myself and what i can achieve....”
