I used to live at Dalston as a young girl and regually went to the market. Must confess I havn't been back for many years so was interested to see how much it had changed. To my surpise the vegetable stall still had the same stallholder still selling veg.I would have just loved the video camera to interview  this man as I'm sure he would have noticed more changes than myself.

The market wasn't as busy as I remembered but that was probably the weather as it didn't STOP raining.

Was great bumping into Dunni and Lola doing their shopping and yes with their camera !!!

I had to take control of taking the photo's as Olivia was reluctant to ask the stallholders. The lady on the egg stall did try and convince her , as she said there had been other children asking ( probably Dunni and Lola ) but no luck.

I'll see if we can give you one of the Flipcams so you can go back and interview the stall holder.....maybe when it's stopped raining!!!!

"I think what i have learnt the most about this project is.......wait for it....is SELF BELIEF. If an artist or anyone, writes, sings, dances or sculpts etc and believes they have done a good job, well thats all that matters....i have doubted myself in the past, lacked believing in myself and what i can achieve....”
