The drama workshop based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night will take place on Monday 22nd February (the first day back after half term) from 3.45 pm to 5.15 pm in the Old Hall at Jubilee.

It should be very hands on (not scarey!) with everybody having a go and mucking in: it’s not about being a star (sorry for those who are looking for stardom!) but finding out about the play (which you will see on Friday at the National Theatre) and working together in teams. We will be working with the group from Lauriston…and it will be fun (I’m running it!).

If you can’t make it, please let me know before Monday

·         12th Night at the National Theatre is on Friday 26th February: I won’t be able to come as I am out of school that day but Jacqueline Bruton Simmonds will be going from Jubilee with you all.

·         She will be leaving school at 11.30 and returning at 4ish. The performance is at 1.15pm

·         Please be on time

Remember to take pictures over the half term holiday: think about your theme. Will it be markets? Portraits? Shops? Buildings? Or something more abstract like looking at the world upside down, speed, shadow, light?

Do contact me if you have any problems! Have a really good holiday!

"I think what i have learnt the most about this project is.......wait for it....is SELF BELIEF. If an artist or anyone, writes, sings, dances or sculpts etc and believes they have done a good job, well thats all that matters....i have doubted myself in the past, lacked believing in myself and what i can achieve....”

"We have decided to take Ryan and Naombh somewhere at least once a month and have figured that with our children its best sometimes just to get on a bus or tube and just see what's going on ,sort of exposing them to the arts accidentally there is so much to see and do"
