Hello Everyone!

Sorry not to have been in touch recently but I've been waiting to hear from Portico about our next workshop dates and so far I haven't had a reply.

However, Madeleine would like to run two separate workshops (one for each school as it makes it easier for her to support everyone if they are in smaller groups) and we are aiming for Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th June from 4 til 6 (or thereabouts). If it suits everyone we would do Lauriston on Monday and Jubilee onRead More...

Death on the Nile (NOT!)

Hi all
just struggled back from Egypt - an amazing journey up the Nile: extraordinary temples, beautiful scenery, incredible history. I took some good photos - random temple pillars and faces of Egyptian guards (with a telephoto - so they didn't know they were being snapped!).
Saw a play on Friday at the National (Women Beware Women - wonderful staging!) and a BRILLIANT piece of acrobatic circus at the Roundhouse on Saturday. The Roundhouse are doing lots of circus stuff at the momRead More...

Quilting workshop

Is anybody back in the coury and can anybody help?!

I've just realised that a lot of you are probably sunning yourselves under that unpronounceable ash cloud, but am I right in thinking the quilting workshop is on 29th April at Jubilee School? I think I am but would appreciate confirmation.

Looking forward to the summer term

I hope you've all had a wonderful Easter. Mine was mixed, first half behaving like a 10 year old mountain biking on The South Downs, the second spent recovering from an operation (the two were not related). This, coupled with my daughter having my camera in Argentina means I've been rubbish with photos. I do hope everyone else is getting together a good collection for our forthcoming exhibition.

I think I'm too much of a coward to be a good photographer anyway.
Behaving? Or not?

Most people talk about how other people behave, they can't also see the way they behave. They act as if they aren't naughty but when it is time for work it is CHAOS! They turn really naughty after a break and mostly get into big trouble.

The more naughty you are the more trouble you will get in, like if you kick someone you will get into trouble. When you are in the class sometimes you don't feel so good so that's when you will act all quiet, but when you feel so enthusiastic you jRead More...

Madelines photo workshop

Just wanted to thank Madeline for a very interesting workshop. Jordon your work on your photo you did was great, the way you covered the writing you didn't want to exactly the same background was fab.

Using the RBG was a lot of fun especially seeing Luba and Mim with their blonde hair.
