LOVE the new look...thank you Nic and Eelyn. Its been a mad term and we haven't been in touch or blogged for ages. Sorry, Sorry, Sorry!
The photography exhibtion will be at Sutton House and we can all go together on Friday 16th July from 12 - 1; but you can go when you like as well.
Should be really exciting to see all the wonderful things you have photographed.

Pupils and parents of Jubilee and Lauriston Primary Schools explored London's cultural delights, and used this website to write about their experience, and share photographs of the city and their life.

Why why why have I never been to watch a Shakespeare play??.. Isn't it a wonderful thing to learn new things about our old English language even at my ripe old age !!! Well I'm sure this is the start of something new so thank you ABC.

Sorry not to have been in touch recently but I've been waiting to hear from Portico about our next workshop dates and so far I haven't had a reply.

However, Madeleine would like to run two separate workshops (one for each school as it makes it easier for her to support everyone if they are in smaller groups) and we are aiming for Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th June from 4 til 6 (or thereabouts). Death on the Nile (NOT!)

Hi all
just struggled back from Egypt - an amazing journey up the Nile: extraordinary temples, beautiful scenery, incredible history. I took some good photos - random temple pillars and faces of Egyptian guards (with a telephoto - so they didn't know they were being snapped!).

I hope you've all had a wonderful Easter. Mine was mixed, first half behaving like a 10 year old mountain biking on The South Downs, the second spent recovering from an operation (the two were not related). This, coupled with my daughter having my camera in Argentina means I've been rubbish with photos. I do hope everyone else is getting together a good collection for our forthcoming exhibition.

Most people talk about how other people behave, they can't also see the way they behave. They act as if they aren't naughty but when it is time for work it is CHAOS! They turn really naughty after a break and mostly get into big trouble.

hello,alex here,we are at the workshop and I am sick as a dog.I delivered my entry to the National Portrait (painting )prize today.I always feel a bit flat after I do this.The portrait has been sitting on the back of the cooker this last week,looking at me while I do the cooking.I will miss it.

Just wanted to thank Madeline for a very interesting workshop. I had no idea how you could make a bad photo look so good, was a little disapointed that I had deleted photo's that hadn't come out to clear now !!!! Jordon your work on your photo you did was great, the way you covered the writing you didn't want to exactly the same background was fab.

Photoshop Me!

We did a workshop with Madeline on using photoshop. It was good fun. I played with the CURVES tool and experimented with putting in and taking away different amouns of Red Green and Blue from my pictures.

I'm going to upload the pictures here so you can see how differnt the photographs look when you change the levels of these coloirs. In one of hte pictures, Alicia, we were able to make the wooded deck look much richer and more wood-like. In the original photo it was Read More...

I can't download my pictures! I don't have cables for my new camera...but i will try again today with a card reader.
I did enjoy last night - great to see so many pictures - including the one of Peter looking like the demon headmaster! You see the camera does lie!
