On 31 January 2010 we went to sadler's wells to see some dances I enjoyed the cuba, salsa and the rumba and the all time favourite hiphop. There were some weird dances, but I enjoyed them all I went with my mum and my stepdad he said he enjoyed it and would go again with a friend.

Today I am back on the Arts Beyond programme 2010. I am very excited and I am looking forward to all the wonderful activities we will be doing. In todays session I was asked to write about an art or creative thing that I have seen recently, I said the shakepeares globe theatre because it inspires me to be a play writer.

I am looking forward to visiting the globe theatre especially the stage and hopefully I will get to see some acting on the stage. I am also looking forward to seeing how the olden times theatre looked like, the seats, the size and how small the so-called pit is and if they could see really well and it was probably not very comfortable.

The reason why i have loved this experience is because i've got to meet laureston and make lots and lots of friends like degon. The thing  I learnt was art is not just drawing it's many other things too like dancing ,music ,film and last of all painting and when you do your art it dosen't have to be someone elses idea because you have got imagination as good as theirs, so give it a go and  see what you can do with your imagination. The End

When  I was at the BFI I had a Great Time! watching films, but the boring part was when we were not watching films.

We listend to a film clip then we had to draw what we heard. We had to draw a close up of what we heard and a long shot of what we heard. Then we wactched the film clip  which was very interesting because our picture was nothing like what we saw when the film clip was shown to us.

We had a fantastic time at saddler wells theartre where we saw lots of different dances. My favourite act was the hip-hop act. I also like the flemingo dancing and also astract dancing. I wasn't too sure about the dance where the lady was drawing herself and got a bit interesting.

They were amazing with all these moves that makes you wonder if they have bones in their bodies.

"Going to the dance was a fantastic experience. My grandmother who was very formal and austere used to take me to the ballet and i absolutely hated it"

"I think what i have learnt the most about this project is.......wait for it....is SELF BELIEF. If an artist or anyone, writes, sings, dances or sculpts etc and believes they have done a good job, well thats all that matters....i have doubted myself in the past, lacked believing in myself and what i can achieve....”

"We have decided to take Ryan and Naombh somewhere at least once a month and have figured that with our children its best sometimes just to get on a bus or tube and just see what's going on ,sort of exposing them to the arts accidentally there is so much to see and do"
